Nashville First Baptist Church underwent an expansion/renovation with the objective of creating a safe, useful, and more approachable space for all its members and downtown residents. The building is comprised of a state-of-the-art worship center, 500-person fellowship hall, classrooms, meeting space, and an outdoor terrace overlooking Broadway. While the contemporary design of the church was brought to life to match the surrounding urban environment, historic elements of the church have been maintained to preserve its 200-year history.
