The Union Station Hotel is a historic hotel in the heart of downtown Nashville and once was the central train station for the city. R.C. Mathews was responsible for the complete renovation and restoration for 125 guestrooms, main atrium lobby space, and auxiliary function rooms. Restoration of the stained glass details, Tiffany stained glass barrel vault ceiling, ornate architectural elements, and complete re-design for the lobby floor were the largest undertakings of the project to restore the building back to its original grandeur.
