We are thrilled to have four interns join us this summer, helping out in the field and in the office. Here is a little bit about them…
Meet Madeleine!
Madeleine is a rising junior at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, majoring in Construction Science. This summer, she is supporting our team at Belle Meade Country Club by assisting with scheduling, daily reports, submittal reviews, RFIs, and monthly update reports, gaining valuable hands-on experience in project management and construction operations. Outside of work and school, Madeleine enjoys creating art, spending time with friends, and staying active.

Meet Trey!
Trey is a rising senior at Auburn University majoring in Building Science and is spending his summer with R.C. Mathews’ VDC team. He assists with coordinating MEP and HVAC systems, creating 3D models, and conducting drone flights to help identify and resolve potential construction issues before they reach the field. Outside of work, Trey enjoys exploring the outdoors and working toward his National Parks bucket list. So far, he has visited 13 national parks and looks forward to adding many more to the list.

Meet Mason!
Mason is a rising senior at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, majoring in Construction Science and Management. This summer, he is supporting R.C. Mathews’ Preconstruction team by assisting with quantity takeoffs, reviewing construction plans and specifications, communicating with subcontractors during the bidding process, and helping prepare cost estimates and bid proposals. In his free time, Mason enjoys golfing, hunting, fishing and spending time with his four sisters!

Meet Clay!
A rising senior at Auburn University majoring in Building Science, Clay spent the first part of his internship in the field assisting with concrete layout at The Opaline and Lotus Learning Center before transitioning to the office to support the project management team with submittals, RFIs, and quantity takeoffs. Outside of work, he enjoys going to the gym, hunting, fishing, and golfing!
