This project is a 17,000-square-foot renovation and addition that will transform a long-standing campus structure into a hub for creativity and collaboration. The project includes the restoration of the original powerhouse building alongside a new three-story addition. Once complete, The CORD will feature a 150-seat performance venue, a state-of-the-art digital media lab, flexible collaboration spaces, a food service area, and exterior patio seating connected to the main campus lawn. A green roof system will also be incorporated to support sustainable stormwater management. This project brings new life to a historic structure while introducing modern spaces that will serve Belmont’s campus for years to come.
