On June 15, 2021, the American Baptist College celebrated the groundbreaking of the Susie McClure Library extension. This extension will include improvements of handicap accessibilty features, lighting to help reduce eyestrain for students, and the HVAC system to reduce airborne viruses and bacteria. In honor of Dr. Susie McClure's benevolence and dedication to give back and change lives of many students and individuals, the college has named the library after her.
RCMC is honored to be back on the American Baptist College campus for the Susie McClure Library extension project, after completing the renovation of historic Griggs Hall in 2015. This project will enable American Baptist College to continue to serve its mission of education, graduating, and preparing diverse students for Christian leadership, service, and social justice - something they have been doing since 1924.
