Project Overview
Nestled between the iconic Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway and the bustling energy of GEODIS Park, 445 Park Commons is a new multi-family development that is redefining urban living in the booming Wedgewood-Houston neighborhood. This unique project is a Mixed-Income Public-Private Partnership development that combines spacious living, community accessibility, and strategic urban planning. The development’s 335-unit apartment complex and 487-space parking garage are designed to foster economic inclusivity. In fact, 29% of all contracts were awarded to DBE partners, which highlights our team’s strong commitment to diversity and local impact. Furthermore, the team was able to deliver the contractual requirements of the Community Benefits Agreement, which included all workers obtaining an OSHA certification.
R.C. Mathews delivered an outstanding project through collaboration, innovation, and problem-solving. By working closely with the client, design partners, and stakeholders, the team overcame special obstacles with adaptability and precision, such as incorporating high-STC assemblies and working on a tight site in a busy area. By leveraging innovative productivity methods and a solutions-focused approach, the team turned challenges into opportunities, controlled costs, and delivered a development that exceeded expectations.
