We’re proud to break ground on the expansion of Saddle Up!, a remarkable organization that provides children and young adults with disabilities the opportunity to grow and thrive through therapeutic and recreational activities with horses.
This project is centered around creating new therapy spaces including a sensory room, equine-assisted learning classroom, and therapy gym to better serve children and families. The expansion will also add a family-centered lobby and dedicated volunteer spaces to support the 300+ individuals who make these programs possible each week.
R.C. Mathews is especially honored to return to a facility we originally built more than 25 years ago, partnering with Gensler to help shape Saddle Up’s next chapter. Walker Mathews, Jr. reflected on our partnership with Saddle Up, saying “Coming back to a building we constructed more than 25 years ago is an amazing opportunity. It speaks to the strength of the original work and the relationships behind it. We’re proud to help shape what comes next and support a great organization.”
