Project Overview
This 50,000-square-foot, 4-Story, addition to First Baptist Church’s downtown campus was constructed with a steel frame adjacent to an existing structure on a very restricted site. The project involved building adjacent to and tying into the existing dining facility and education building. We renovated the existing kitchen facilities in order to integrate this area with the new fellowship hall. Large moveable walls were installed to be able to create separate classrooms in the assembly space. The site work involved significant utility coordination including temporary shoring of major primary electrical service lines in the alley.
